Need help with masking materials search
Hello Dear Friends!
Could you possibly advise any masking materials for air plasma spray? I need to find two materials:
1) First one should be in rod/wire form, like PTFE (teflon), but with higher thermal strength properties. I'm gonna use it for cooling holes masking, but Machblock or Dymax SpeedMask are not matching. It should be something that can be machined to the specific shape before masking. I hear that special high temperature silicone can withstand up to 450C, but I'm not deal with that.
2) Second one should have good adhesion to ceramic top coat, to alloy masking of inner diameter with already applied TBC. Common masking tape like Dewal DW500 has weak adhesion to ceramic. I thought about Dewal BlueShiled, but I have no experience with this product.
The both materials should be cured on air or with UV light and have simple removal after coating.
Please help me guys!
Kind regards,
Artyom
