Amdry 962 sprayed on labyrinth by F4 gun

Hi All,

Does anyone have the experience about Amdry 962 sprayed on labyrinth by F4 gun?

Now what I'm facing is the flection of the powder, which leads to lots of unmelted particles and high porosity in coating. The parameters are Current 650A Argon 40NLPM H2 12NLPM 150mm 40g/min.

What is the carrier gas flowrate for powder?
Increase in primary gas flowrate may help you.

The nozzle diameter is 6mm, and injector is 1.8mm with carrieer gas 2.5NLPM

Zhao, I Think for the particular APS coating your requirement of porosity will be below 10% , if I am not wrong. I think you need to increase the heat input. try with below parameters also share your parameters, I can look and help you to optimize your parameters.
