Is the iPad good for college students?

Hello Members,

I would like to have an iPad for entertainment purposes, but I heard of the "iWorks" app that's good for business work. I'm a Business Management major in college who wants something light weight to take notes in school. Is the iPad good for note taking in classroom atmospheres? If anyone having any idea relating this topic please suggest me.

I think a mac-book pro air would be a better option if you want to go for a light weight option otherwise just go a small mac-book pro so you can still have a cd loot ipad is ab it small and anything for work in my opinion.

Sir Tony, i though you were asking an iPad for the students, as per the topic but if you might want a business and entertainment... i agree with Vicky over here. The mac-book would do the work greatly and even you can check out the Google Nexus 10. I have been checking it out, and i believe it is also a great choice

Sure ipad is good for college students and i think every student should have
ipad, because the students can continue their studies with the help of ipad.

Its depends on usage of I POD ........I think its not bad just for entertainment .

I agree that students with ipad, ipad not to say that college students with bad, it can also give us a lot of help, the most important is to look at their own how to use it.

yes it will be helpful for students , for reading Pdf files , search education related sites.
