RE: MCP 400 wire
Tafa 204M (MCP 400) as you know is a propriety tool facing/mould making alloy. It is said to resemble a Kirksite material and the only information I can find is that it is Zinc with Copper and Aluminium. I could find no composition percentages or further information. I guess the vendors are keeping their secrets?
Good Luck! |

RE: MCP 400 wire
We have occasionally replaced this wire with a psuedo alloy of alumnium and zinc wires, ie one of each in the arc spray.
According to the mold maker, it worked fine. best regards, Stephen James Booth Asia Pacific stephen.booth@fst.sg |
