How to get rid of hydrogen embrittlement after plating process

Good day to you
Recently i face some problem in our spring. when we sent to our customer, during their assembly, the spring break into two piece. we have gone through baking process after our plating process. want to check with you, can baking process really eliminate hydrogen embrittlement problems?
