Metco 450 coating surface problem

Hi,

We spray Metco 450NS using F4 gun
Process parameters are: Current 600A, Ar 40-55, H2 8-9.5, Table speed 40-70rpm, Traverse Speed 2-3mm/min, Distance from the gun 120-170mm and from the center of table 280-35mm.

In all of our attempts the coating had instability (the coating has "ridges" and the his morphology a little bit changed) at the top of the coating.

Any recommendations?

You can use fine powder (Diamalloy 4008,43F-NS etc.)
