Arc Spray Equipment for zinc coating on Condenser tube
Hi all,
I am looking for suitable qualified arc spray equipment for zinc coating on micro-multiport tube, used for automotive condenser.
The spray pattern must be concentrated and finely-atomized to improve DE, and the spray rate can be synchronized with the extruder.
I would appreciate to hear from any suppliers with proven technology, or any advice from you.
Best regards,
Gary

We sold one of these systems years ago. You typically need two arc spray systems (one on top and one below) that can spray at very low amperages and the arc must remain stable. You should have a specification of how much zinc you need per squared centi-metre. You also to need to make sure that the arc systems are not too far away from the extruder as you use the heat of the extrused metal to get the zinc to stick (bond) to the aluminium.
Thanks so much for your helpful information. I really appreciate it. Please also let me know the producer of arc spray system you sold.
Best regards,
Gary
