: I want to mix Diamond powder and some component to grinding diamond cutting tools. Do somebody know the method? So, could you help me? Thank you very much.
Hi
If you are interested in making diamond grinding tools then binder used normally is micron sized cobalt powder, and sintered at around 850deg.C. In addition to binder other additives are used to strengten the soft cobalt matrix. In my book on 'Surface Wear - Analysis, Treatment and Prevention ( ASM International, Materials Park, OH,2001, a best seller) see under title 'Superhard Material Composites' p254 to 256.
