Hi,
My recently published book entitled 'Advanced Thermally Assisted Surface Engineering Processes' ( published by Kluwer Academic Publishers, Boston,2004) contains a big chapter on 'plasma assisted surface engineering processes' in addition to chapters on processes based on 11 different heat sources, like ion, electron, laser, microwave, arc, spark, induction etc, sarting from basic priciples, processes, and applications, quality control, and wear life.
In case of any querries on any material in this book (or my other book on ' Surface Wear-Analysis, Treatment, and Prevention,2001, best seller from ASM-International,) I shall be glad to answer.
