: We coat printing rollers with chrome oxide.

: What is the best suitable bond coat when costing onto steel rolls that have contact with dye based inks?

: Thanking you in advance.

Hi Mark

Plasma sprayed 80/20 nickel/chromium is traditionally used as a bond coat. If you are experiencing problems with this I would suggest trying HVOF coatings of Hastelloy C or Inconel 625.
