Hi all
I would like to coat the aluminium drive pulley on my experimental helicopter with a surface that is resistant to wear. There is an amount of slippage on the pulley as the clutch engages at start up, which has worn grooves into it. The pulley is anodised which gives it a harded skin, yet once the anodising layer wears through the belt quickly begins to wear the pulley. What would you recommend as a coating? The pulley is 6061 aircraft aluminium
