message to hvof operators
I succed to make longer during life torch parts five times than recommanded by constructors.
please tell me your hvof during life torch parts,
for the moment my nozzel barrel 8" during life is more than 25 hours
the interconnector is really inusable,i can use it for max time
it would be very nice of you if some operators talk about during life of torch parts.i would like to depose protection of my invention and that s why i need your opinion

can you clarify this? the interconnector is "inusable" and "...I would like to depose protection of my invention..."

Actually, I'm interested too.

what Average Life do people get on JP-5000 barrels? I know this depends on the application and parameters. A general Average would be interesting. I suspect there will be a large spread in the results.

best regards

hi SteelDryver
i don t mind what application and parameters the coater choose for jp -5000 barrels, but i can make longer his torch components more than 5 times than they are used to be
of course ,it needs geometry modification of existing materiel and other modification i can t tell you all now
best regards

feedback

JP5000 barrel

2 hours all the way to 100 hours.

dependent upon carrier gas, morphology and particle size distribution.
jp5000 does not like fine powders, loads up.

hi feedback
thank you for answer
of course gaz and powder parameters must be correct, but eventhough all, there are some mechanical fabrication errors witch reduce barrel during life.
before resolving these mechanical problems my barrel life was between 2 and 8 hours.(average 5 hours)

now I use it for more than 25 hours also the other parts life of my torch is longer than before,
My boss is very happy

new record for barrel during life 45 hours and still going, the inteconector has 100 hours but new,I Think it will reach 350 or 400 hours .same for combustion chambre

ouch... here is the USA I am paying around 41.25 Euro and 333 Euro.
You should order from the USA with the dollar being so cheap.

Using 86/10/4 our general barrel life is somewhere around 13-18hrs with turning.

if I knew it before it would be importante for me,because my barrel and interconnector life was short (barrel 8hours,interconnector 100 hours),but now it s very longer(51 h for barrel and 350 h for interconn),no mind to pay some more euros for parts

RE: message to hvof operators
I get 4-6 months of use out of my nozzles for my AC-HVAF system when spraying tungsten carbide. I have gone several years on a nozzle used to spray metals.
