Nonferrous metal materials for automotive parts
According to the composition and processing characteristics of aluminum alloy, it can be divided into deformed aluminum alloy and cast aluminum alloy.
Deformable aluminum alloys: divided into anti-rust aluminum alloys, hard aluminum alloys, superhard aluminum alloys; anti-rust aluminum alloys mainly refer to AI-Mn series, Al-Mg series alloys; characterized by high corrosion resistance, it is often called anti-rust aluminum alloys. In addition, it also has good plasticity and certain weldability, but the strength is low, can not be heat treated, only after cold deformation can make it strengthen; anti-rust aluminum alloy grade with LF "plus sequence number. LF is the first letter of the Chinese phonetic alphabet. For example, LF5, LF11 represents a rust preventive aluminum alloy with a sequence number of 5 or 11. In the same way. LY12 is the hard aluminum alloy with the order number 12; LC6 is the superhard aluminum alloy with the order 6; LD10 is the forged aluminum alloy with the order number 10.
Hard aluminium alloy: mainly refers to Al-Cu-Mn series, Al-Cu-Mg series alloys; through quenching and aging treatment to obtain a fairly high strength, quenching and aging in the state of better machinability, but poor corrosion resistance.
Superhard aluminium alloy: belongs to Al-Cu-Mg-Zn alloy, in addition to a small amount of chromium, manganese; the strength of aluminum alloy in the highest, so called superhard aluminium. Superhard aluminium is mainly used for structural parts requiring light weight and large force.
Cast aluminum alloy: aluminum alloy used to make castings, commonly known as cast aluminum; cast aluminum is divided into aluminum silicon alloy, aluminum copper alloy, aluminum magnesium alloy, aluminum zinc alloy, namely, Al-Si system, Al-Cu system, Al-Mg system, Al-Zn system and so on.
Aluminum-silicon alloy: Aluminum-silicon alloy is widely used in the manufacture of piston, cylinder block, cylinder head, fan blades, motor, instrument housing and complex structural parts of internal combustion engines.
Aluminum-copper alloy: Aluminum-copper alloy has high heat resistance and can be used to make parts working at high temperature (300 ~C). But the corrosion resistance is poor.
Cast aluminum alloy:
Al-Mg alloys are characterized by low density (less than 2.55g/cd), good corrosion resistance and high strength, but poor casting performance, easy to produce hot cracking and shrinkage porosity; they are mostly used for parts working under impact, vibration load and corrosion conditions.
The strength of Al Zn alloy is high, but its corrosion resistance is poor. If a proper amount of manganese and magnesium is added, corrosion resistance can be increased appropriately. In addition, the process performance is very good; can be used in as-cast parts used directly, such as automotive carburetors, meters, various thin shells, etc.
