Silicon and Hafnium coating powder effect

Hello guys
Iam new member from indonesia, and i work for new engineering in industrial gas turbine business. and get focus job in surface treatment like thermal spray.

could anybody know what the effect silicon and hafnium in coating powder??

Hafnium increases oxidation resistance of MCrAlY coatigs
Similar effect is a silicon for hot corrosion
For IGT the very simple and cheaper is diffusion aluminizing process
