JP5000 combustion tube
Has anyone ever came across JP5000 combustion tubes continuously melting ?

The nylon tube on the pig tail attached to the Stabilizer

Any thoughts

Cheers

Kev

When your coaxial stabilizer starts to wears out you will get a back pressure that can brake the combustion pressure hose.a clog barrel also will increase the internal pressure leading to damage the powder hose too.
When reassembly try to fill the hose and pig tail with kerosene to avoid hot combustion gases get in to the plastic hose

Thanks for the feedback,

He has tried a complete new gun on the system and still gets the same fault? I was thinking a pressure or flow issue that could effect the S/R causing a harsh start or aggressive combustion

Clutching at straws really !

Maybe a leakage in the hose , in the console side , will let the heated gases move into pig tail and hose. filling the hose with liquid, uncompressible, you will avoid this .

RE: JP5000 combustion tube
I use the st model which is a bit smaller. The gun and system are balanced for pressure. I had a leak in the pressure sensor hose at the console a little while ago. It made the pieces on the back stabilizer melt in a few minutes of running.
