Hello All,

Now I have some questions about WC-Co coating:
1. What's the difference of the coating sprayed by APS and HVOF?;
2. How to choose the process, based on the working conditions or something else?
3. Is the coating sprayed by APS sensitive to the environment? I worked out this coating with APS（F4 gun） and sometimes the crack occurs without any change, the preheat temperature is around 80℃。

Dear Collegues
We starting work with 6P-II combustion flame spray with 40-years old metco powder feeder and 2gf flow meter. We are looking for user manual for this torch and starting procedure.
Can You help us in the case of starting procedure becourse during switchin from iginition to work it sometimes turns off. Which vales of pressure are recommended for the beginning

I keep getting an ignition fault on my 9MC console.
I switched out electrode/nozzle and fault continues.
My next step is to switch out the -/+ hoses.

If this doesn't solve issue, what should my next step be?

We are planning to use waterjet stripping machine to remove the coatings. As we are new to this waterjet stripping method, requesting for your valuable inputs to remove the coatings.

1. Can anyone share the parameters to remove the Ni-Al bond coat from Inconel parts?
2. What can be the good inspection method, to ensure the complete removal of coating?

Dear Forum,

Currently we are using Argon gas as primary gas in our plasma spray. As per the technical specification, the purity of the gas should be maintained. So we are purchasing the gas cylinders directly from a local vendor and he is ensuring the purity of the gas by testing in their laboratory. 

In future, we are having a plan to install a bulk tank to supply the gas continuously to the machine. Vendor is going to supply the Argon in the form of liquid and this liquid argon will be stored in the bulk tank. By using vaporization process this liquid will be phase changed from liquid argon to gaseous argon and this argon gas will be supplied to the machine.

1. What is the impact on gas purity due to this phase transformation from liquid to gas?

2. What are the ways to check the purity of the gas after conversion?
