suction or pressure grit blast machine?

Hello everyone. Which kind of grit blast machine is fit for thermal spraying, Pressure fed or suction? Or it doesn't matters except requirement of Ra? I'm a beginner.

Hi,
The two system is nearly equal. But you have to know something about air compressor. If you choice pressure blasting machine, you have to take min 37 kwa air compressor. ( if you use 24 grit and your nozzle inside diam is 8 or 10 mm)
İf you take sucktion one you can use 11 kwa - 22 kwa (10 atm pressure) and use 8 mm max nozzle. Couse if you choice big nozzle your comp cant give enough air.
On the other one the pressure blasting machine investmen is high then the other one. But you can faster blasting.
