TSA on SS

Dear All,
One of our customer has a query about Thermal Spray Aluminium on SS 304 and SS 316. I do not know how this pair will work. Pl send me more info. The application in inside of the motor casing.

twin wire arc spray will do the job.

also can do by Flame spray, most important is surface preparation by blasting with SA 3 standard cleanliness, maximum thickness is 250micron

TSA application on 316, 314 stainless steel, Duplex stainless steel, Hastelloy C, and others special alloyed steel, is necessary in order to reduce corrosion pin holes, and stress corrosion cracking of the components, like off-shore plants, heat exchangers, and so on, TSA can be applied with Arc spray or flame spray systems, but pay attention with the exhaust powders, because aluminum powders are highly explosives and flammables, and if you use a wet exhaust filter, pay attention where do you stock the residual powder, because aluminum with water generate hydrogen gas more explosive than aluminum.
