Surface Speeds and traverse for coating Cro-167

Hello All,

I'm trying to setup surface speeds for coating CRO-167 on cylinders of different sizes and need to know how to determine speeds and feeds for them. i think the desired coating thickness should be around .0005. Any advise would be greatly appreciated. Thanks joe

only .0005? a general though is 150-250 surface feet per min

CRO-167 is a chromium oxide ceramic powder I believe.

If you mean 0.0005" per pass then yes. In some cases I would aim even lower ~ 0.0002".
