Dear Friends,

We have a received an order for POT Stabilizer Rolls from one of our customer. The drawing calls for a surface roughness of 1.6-1.8 Ra.

As this roll will be used in a Zin Pot we are supposed to apply a sealant for proper sealing of the porosity. As of now am using DICHTOL HTR0977 Sealant.

The Surface Roughness after coating ( HVOF Process ) is in the range of 4-6 Ra. But once we apply the sealant and cure it the Roughness is coming down to 0.4-0.5 Ra.

Can anyone help me out how to maintain the roughness in the range of 1.6-1.8 Ra.

Also please do let me know whether the sealant what we are using currently is the proper sealant for this application.

Do help me out in this scenario.
