Video  Problem WC CoCr
Hi colleagues.

I did a home-made installation of HVOF. Help me figure out the device’s settings.
Actually this device is slightly smaller than the HIPOJET-2700.
The problem with spraying WC CoCr. The coating is not very dense.
The photo went through a carbide sandblasting plant. Abrasive AL2O3 100mkm. Carbide eats very quickly and it is not resistant.
WC CoCr Powder -35 + 15 μm
The photo cannot be inserted.

Can you tell what could be the problem?
Is there a lot of oxygen in the flame?
I have never seen an industrial HVOF burner burn.

In the video, powder spraying analog 3650

To prevent porosity, it is necessary to increase the gas flow and reduce the flow of powder. particles do not have time to get enough kinetic energy. it can also cause poor adhesion. What gas do you work on?

Thank. I have already done so.
I had a very large supply of carrier gas. The powder did not warm up and did not adhere well. Now everything is fine.
Proran gas - butane mixture.

My burner has too little pressure in the combustion chamber. Only 2.5 bar. I will work to increase the pressure.
