Plasma investment
Hi everyone,

We are planning to buy plasma spray system. I compare the torches performance and capacity. I want to compare only F4 and 9MB torchs about ceramic, metal alloy and carbide coatings. Is anyone to help us ? Particul velocity, max particul temperature, particul deposition and gun spare parts service life? Which torch we have to choice? Our first point is quality of oxide ceramics (Al/Ti, CrO, ZiO ect), and also we want to spray carbides.

RE: Plasma investment
Hi Met
Of course F4 is the best choise, 9MB has more expensive maintenance cost, both as time life and cost of the spares, and quality of coatings is better with F4 gun, or, if you want a better performances torch, you could update the new Delta Plasma Torch from GTV, that have 3 cathodes technique, that perform very well
Best regards
Luigi
