Molibdenum sprayed by plasma

Hello, have anyone experience with spraying molibdenum by plasma? I use reference parameters for f4mb gun, which are a little bit changed due to better morphology but i've achieved a small hardness below 500HV. Any suggestions? I've checked the range of paremeters 600-630A, 40-47Ar, 8,5-10 H2.

With Molybdenum in order to have a higher hardness needs to be oxidized, and as you know, with APS technologies is not possible to have an oxidized coating, (moly is reactive with oxigen gas only) maybe with the external air nozzles on the gun with the correct pinch effect, you can oxidize the molybdenum, but the best technologies to have higher hardness on the moly coating is by using HVOFWire that is a chipper technology, but has a very good result

We achieved good quality with TAFA 13T wire spraying.
