Hi,
I have a question about the fuel gas in HVOF. Can anybody give a comparison between methane and propane? The advantage and the disadvantage? Thanks! Big Grin

Oxygen/methane has a lower flame temperature than oxygen/propane, which may not be so good for the higher melting point spray materials.

I will leave it for others with experience of actually using methane to comment further.
