Latest Arc Spray Machine

hi, I thought 3/16" (4.8mm) arc spray machine is the latest one (I start go through old message board msg , found that in 2003 already have 3/16 wire). I used Thermion Arc Machine to spray 4.8mm Aluminum. Any machine uses bigger size wire ?

4.8 mm is I think is about the largest. (someone correct me if I'm wrong ). The large diameter wire arc spray machines really are only of benefit when very high spray rates are required for soft low melting point wires like zinc and aluminium.
