Each pass thickness & interpass temp. confused

Coatings made of stainless steel (Diamalloy 1003 or 316 L) cannot be used as a bond coat. Conversely, these layers will accelerate corrosion of the substrate in a humid atmosphere.

Any possibility that a thin ss layer of Diamalloy be applied on MS base ..then apply a bond coat followed by top coat.

Just a guess...since you tell we can't use it as a bond coat.

I was just wondering since I thought this SS layer (Diamalloy) may prevent the MS base from corroding.

correct me ,I may be absolutely wrong here.

Dear Gentlemen

I am facing a few issues while Coating Chrome ceramic.
Of late I have been getting small black spots (very random and just one small spot on entire roller).
We have a Metco sinplex pro gun from Oerlikon. 
Also when i use Aluminium Base , I am getting a small tiny pin hole which is usually visible after grinding/polishing.
Changing gun parts electrodes,neutrodes /Nozzle didnt help me much.
Your suggestion will be highly appreciated. I am using an epoxy based sealant after plasma coating from Diamant Dichtol.
