Drum Thickness Coating Requirement for SS316.

Dear Group Members,

This is and edit to my previous post just for clarity.
The client has a chemical flaker drum for making flakes of liquid chemical of Dia 1500 mm and Length 2500mm, shell thickness 12mm
Material of construction SS316.
There is considerable grooving in then due to age and wear due to constant contact with doctor blade.
We would like to know what precautions to take while coating the drum with SS316 via wire arc spray method.
Concern: shell thickness ? Any warping issurs , we should be worried about.
Please suggest the right procedure to do the job.
What abrasive belts should we use to give a polished finished and the best RA values.
Please suggest precautions or process modifications to do the job as we do not want to loose the job.

Please advise. With suggestions and inputs.
