Discontinuities on HVOF surface
Hi All,
I need some help to understand the pictures attached, we observe a diagonal stacking pattern, some cracks and material not fused, but this pattern is present only in the second application. We try differents parameters but there are no important changes.
Gordon, I sent by email the pictures
Many thanks for your support.

The cracking in the 2nd and 3rd images appear like what happens when either you hot mount with too much pressure (keep the pressure under 300 psi) or gring with too much speedand pressure. The structure is a different issue.
