Coating and Heat treatment Improvements

Hi to all fellows,
Can anyone help me to share knowledge about coating and Heat Treatment (Vacuum Furnaces) improvement?
I am expecting new ideas, to save Powder Cost, Material Cost and Gas fuel cost
Powder Management Software(any excel or VB databases)
Job handover development?
Machine and Man Utilization?
5s and Lean Six sigma projects ..

whatever it can help me to develop my cell in a higher level is appreciated..

That is a rather comprehensive ask...

It sounds like you need to hire someone like me for a few months. Unfortunately I am not currently available.

That is basically a complete shop rebuild from the ground up. Changing culture in a spray room environment can be very difficult, where "that's the way we've always done it" prevails.

I've built up a few shops (working on one now) and starting from scratch is easier than trying to change. But, it can be done. It really depends on your operators more than anything else. They have to want to change. If they don't, it's a long hard road.
