Al-Si Graphit Powder metco 313NS

we could not able to get Al-Si Graphite (Metco 313Ns), as you know sulzer metco introduce that this powder morphology is clad, what is meaning of clad? and is it possible to make this powder as we blend the powder of Al,Si and Graphite,

Metco 313-NS is an aluminium alloy - graphite composite powder. The two components AlSi and graphite are bound together using organic binder. It is not possible to make this powder by just blending the components together.

Typical Metco 313NS Composition is as follow: Aluminum 40.0%, Graphite 45.5%, Silicon 5.5% Organic Binder 9.0%
Typical Size Range: -100 mesh +15 microns (-150 +15 microns) .The organic binders are temporary additives that burn off on flame with minimal residue, if you want and you have the facilities in order to make powders, off course you can, it seem easy, but take in mind that powders for OEM applications need to be approved.
