Acquire a detonation thermal spray system (D-gun)

Hello Everyone,

I'm new to the SEF and to thermal spray in general, but I have been tasked with determining if I can acquire a detonation thermal spray system (D-gun). I know that the patents for the current D-gun systems are expiring this year and I would either like to purchase one or determine the best way to fabricate one.

I'd appreciate any help with locating any vendors willing to sell/rent their system or consult on the fabrication of a new one.

Hi Ben
The best at the moment for higher spray particle speed is the HVOF with Ethanol as fuel, instead of the old Kerosene fuel, is the HVOF that perform like HVAF but with higher flame temperature, and could compete with D-Gun coatings
