Day-flying Yellow-barred Long-horn moth or Fairy moth on mint leaves. This male fairy longhorn moth has extremely long antennae. a striking shiny metallic 'gold leaf' appearance. It floated down from a willow tree like a small piece of leaf debris and if not for the odd gravity defying moments would not have been noticed. Farnham, Surrey, UK, 11 June 2010.

Canon EOS 400D with Leitz Wetzlar Macro-Elmarit-R 60mm F/2.8 Lens.
