Gentlemen,
I have been dealing with several coating processes for Turbomachinery. For journals, seals areas etc.
We use APS and DE Gun. Here we have a typical requirement where we want to caot the journal of a motor rotor where the Bearing installed is an antifriction bearing. Due to the nature of a application there is a requirement to remove and re-install the bearing every 3 months.
The interference between bearing ID and shaft OD is about 30 microns.
Will Tungsten carbide with de-gun with stand ?
The max thickness I am looking for is 250 Microns on Radius.
Kindly give me you values pinion.
Thanks and best regards,
Srini
