: Is anyone familiar with the Metco 4E metallizing gun? I'm not familiar with the use of these but acquired one recently. Are they still in use?
The metco 4e is probably 30 years old. and still a very usefull tool, I know of companies where it is used for metal build up repairs and anti corrosion spray galvanising . To set it up you will require oxy/fuel gas, a compressor min 50 cfm about (15 hp), fume extaction and ear muffs. I service Metco guns and have all spares for this
model. The 4e has been superseeded by type 11e and 14e, Its value is mainly trade in up to around £50.
I hope this is of use to you, Please contact if you require futher assistance.
