Hi Tony
I believe K30 is 91% WC and 9% Co, with no Cr.
K701 WC with Cr and Co binder, also consider K801 WC with Ni
binder. Both should give better corrosion resistance. Not sure how
much wear and mechanical properties will be compromise though.

you seem to know a lot about Tungsten Carbide :)
i need to compare two standards of WC grit - YG8 and K30 (which
is better for hole saw tip)
