Dear All,
I made some tests with METCO 45VF-NS ( Cr: 25,5%,
Ni:10.5%, W:7.5% Co: Balance) powder with 6 mm nozzle
of F4-MB plasma gun and I would like to set-up the powder injection
angle in 75 °(which is the powder manufacturer
recommendation) but it was impossible because of after 2 spray
cycles the gun spat molten big powder particles on the test plate
and I could see molten powder particles around the nozzle. I tried
to reduce the powder quantity and modified the carrier gas
quantity, but it did not help to set-up the 75 ° injection
angle.
Could you give me some ideas how can I solve this problem?
Thanks:
Andrea
