Hi Greg
My experience of titanium powder spraying by detonation method is
very negative. It was possible to make only one shot, and then
titanium powder had begun to burn inside the barrel due to high
temperature of products of detonation and the air as currier gas.
My recommendations are: oxy, air as less as possible, may be the
protection of the substrate by nitrogen will help.
