Hi Joe As new the 9E and 11E guns are fitted with high speed gearing for spraying zinc and aluminium at high spray rates. This set-up is not suitable for spraying the harder wires. 10E and 12E come with standard (S or std) gearing design to cover the whole range of wires (including zinc and aluminium but at lower spray rates). There are optional high speed turbine shafts/countershafts (H or HS)to convert to high speed running. The Y gun is very old. Best polished up and kept as an antique. Regards Gordon
