Bond coat
Hi Gordon , i want to know what is the best bond coat that is to be used for spraying (Cr2O3,5SiO2,3TiO2) on graphite.

Hi Raviswanadha

I can only suggest some experimentation. Try without bond coat, traditional bond coats NiAl and molybdenum. Tungsten is claimed to bond to graphite. Perhaps you could give us more details on substrate, application etc.

Hi,
As suggested by Gordon try with conventional bond coat or without any bond coat.
If you do not get the coating adherence then try following:-
*deposit a thin layer of electroplated Ni or Al or Ni+Al by brush plating and then have your ceramic coating
