Boiler Tube Puncture

Rolleyes Boiler Tube Puncture
We have installed Steam Boiler just 4 years back
and today we found leak in the 3 nos. tubes
for such a short duration of time
what could be the possible reason behind leaking of tubes

Other than to say it may be oxidation, corrosion, erosion or installation fault it is difficult to answer more precisely with the information you give.

hi,
you need to specify the location,steam oressure,fuel used,also type such as waste heat boiler,in order to find out the reason for failure.Boiler tubes are prresure tested in presence of boiler inspector, so that chance of leakage under normal operating conditions is remote.
