Can anybody advise the pros and cons of babbit arc spraying vs pouring of babbit?

To my understand the advantages of Babbit Arc Spraying in comparison as follows:

1.0 Can arc spray over of Existing Babbit
2.0 Shrinkage is Negligible
3.0

Dear Mr.Allen,
I have carried out many Aec Sprayed babbit bearing jobs.
On thin compressor seals Arc spray works best because of low heat in put. How ever now i prefer gas flame spray over arc spray as it gives less fumes. In any case babbit spray is hazardous and needs lot of safety, while pouring u must control the heat of the job
