RE: hello
Hi Sebastian
![]() The 10E gun is good for general purpose spraying as it will spray most wires. If you plan on spraying a lot of zinc, aluminium and any other low melting point wires it might be advisable to change the gearing to high speed (replace standard countershaft gear "S" with "H" high speed version). Hi Sebastian
Quote:thanks gordon, and change the title right? Yes, thank you. I must apologies for my last post "Change your thread subject title to help with forum searches". I drop a "d" ![]() ![]() Quote:that air flow and pressure of need, approximately how many hp has to have the compressor Not sure of HP rating of compressor, but the gun by itself will require around 30 CFM (0.85 cubic metres per minute) of clean dry air at 65 psi (4.5 bar). The line pressure at the regulator should be 75 psi (5.2 bar) minimum with the gun running to allow for efficient regulation. If you are running grit blasting or other processes at the same time from the same air supply, you will need to calculate for this also. It is important that the air is free from oil and moisture, so an after-cooler and air cleaner units should be considered.
