screen Basket - Pulp Mills

Hi All,

Any experience of coating on the ID of "screen baskets" used in Pulp Mills

Believe all leading OEMS of pulp mills offer Hard Chrome plating followed by electro-polishing on these screen baskets but have come across a few white papers on the net which indicate that a 88/12 WC/Co coating applied using HVOF can work better over the hard chrome

Just concerned about the surface finish of HVOF coatings as the ID of these baskets would be difficult to grind....

Any experience / thoughts are welcome....
