Yield Rate
Dear gordon,
i woulld like to know the formula to calculate the price for WCCo (HVOF) coating. Where can i find the value of density of powder metal and coefficient (yield rate) for WCCo, WCCoCr, Hastelloy-c, Stellite 6, SS316 and etc? Regards, minja |

It is difficult to have an hypothetical value, because the real cost depend of the system been used, the set of parameters used, and the geometry of the piece to be coated, D.E. can have high differences in value if the set of parameters are not well settled, in any case you could find the theoretical values in the technical bulletin of the powder been used, there you can find indicative values of the density of the coating, the spray rata, and de D.E. of the powder .
