WC10Co4Cr accumulation in JP5000 nozzle
Hello everyone, I am new here and come straight out with a problem. Can anyone help me understand why our WC10Co4Cr is accumulating in the nozzle of the JP5000 but the same powder does not do this in the DJ2700 gun?

None of us can figure out what could be causing this in one gun but not the other. Ashamed0002 Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks in advance.

JP5000 and DJ2700 are two completely different HVOF burners. Each burner has a specific, optimal parameter set for each powder. You have used JP5000 parameters that are too hot (too much kerosene) and therefore your powder melts inside the nozzle and clogs up.
