T-800 Coating by HVOF
Dear Gordon and all, I would like to know if I spray T-800 HVOF coating, should I buy JetKote or DJ2600? I want to buy a HVOF tool for GE's TF69 coating, there is saying that only JetKote can spray this coating well? Is that true? Any parameters recommended? Thank you so much! Jeffsays163@hotmail.com

Hi jeffsays163

To be honest I don't know, but I would be inclined not to believe everything I hear Happy0193 If you are about to make a big investment in equipment primarily with T800 coatings in mind, I would ask your prospective equipment suppliers to demonstrate/prove suitability before purchase.

Hi all,

I would say finally the acquisition of the P&E investment will still boils down to cost & benefit analysis..because I am so sure that all OEM will claim they can do the job and spray T800 to meet your spec!!! lol, wouldnt that be the truth?

So, competitiveness of the pricing and sofisticatedness of the system which is in your favor is key..and ultimately, if both claim to be equally good...$$$ will make the call for your boss.=P
