Stripping off from mud rotors

In conventional methods; hard chrome or as better solution HVOF coating for Mud Rotors (in drilling equipments) needs refurbushing.
For this tools, which method should we use to strip off?

Why I recommend chemical stripping is best because, it will keep substrate integrity, high stripping rate, uniform dissolution and no galvanic corrosion.
Various chemical stripping methods are using for stripping tungsten carbide. If you able to maintain your bath PH level, density, voltage & amps , you will be able to get better output.
