Spam
Last few days we have had a surge of spammy posts and dodgy member registrations. While it is impossible to stop real people registering and posting spam, it is normally reasonably easy to deal with by banning and deleting, maybe ~5 a week or so. But last few days my time has been consumed deleting 100's of doggy accounts.

I think the recent flood was automated somehow getting by both CAPTCHA and email confirmation. So I've added another layer of security on registration "security question". Its only been on a few hours so far but (touchwood) seems to have calmed the bogus registrations and spam. Time will tell.

If you come across spam or dubious posts, spam email/PM's via forum, please report them. I will thank those members that have done this in the past, particularly djewell

Cheers

Seems to have done the job
