Ra After Blasting
Ra after blasting for HVOF coating

Hello everyone
Please Help me

I am inquiring everyone’s knowledge on the world of grit blasting , i want make test coupon for my customer , but my customer have spesifcatian that a surface roughness after blasting 51 - 127 microns, with grit 20-24 aluminum oxide, after I test it with 6 bar air and 6 inch stand af distance result Ra 5,3 - 6.9 microns , my question is, how do I get Ra 51 - 127 microns, while grit 20-24 results are 5.3 - 6.9 microns with the parameters I used earlier

51-127 micron of roughness is in Rz scale. It is different from Ra.
In my experience, it is not easy to attain Rz > 100 micron.
