Bell  Ni-Al (80/20) Flame Spray Wire
Dear Users,

Bonding of coating to the substrate plays an important role in thermal spray. It has been proved long back that Ni-Al (80/20) gives much better results than other bonding wires. We Metallizing Equipment Co. Pvt Ltd, offers Ni-Al (80/20) wire of size 3.17mm in spools for bond coat. The wires are ready stock available with us. Please refer attached coating properties.

You may write to marketing@mecpl.com for more details and pricing.

Thanks & Regards

My friend I am using Tafa NiAl 95/5 75B bond arc from a longer period as bond coat, sometimes we thought to try 80/20 ratio also but never finalized for it. In your thread you are talking about a long research over superiority of Ni80Al20 over 95/5!! Can you please give us reference of this research? possibly we can atleast make our mind to try this composition once. Even OEM suggest bond strength of 9750 psi with Ni95Al5 & 8750 psi with Ni80Al20 composition.

As per my knowledge 80/20 ratio can be a bit dominating over 95/5 when we talk of gas flame spray process but we all know this process has been replaced by electric arc spray everywhere.

Regards

My Friend,

Excuse me but I do not want to buy any of your product as we have limited & approved suppliers already and quite happy with those! Whenever I see some amusing marketing commitment from anybody I start pulling their leg. I myself professor in surface engineering field & experience of almost 30 years into thermal spray.

Don't mind!!
